Time to Leave
Written by Noscere.

lordaeron

I am ready to leave Undercity now. I have not set foot outside of these walls in years. Other than the time between escaping from the Lich and entering Lordaeron for the first time I dont recall seeing any day light in between.

I still have some things I need to gather before I can leave the glades. As a priority I am going to need a horse, I will have to replace my skinning knife as well and this will take money, something I have had no need for until now. My first port of call is the village of Brill, I have been told there is an inn there where I can stay until my business there is done, from there I will travel to the Sepulcher. There is a tomb there which has been opened and will provide shelter until it is time to move on again. By this time I should have the finance needed to get a horse. I have been given a camera to I can take pictures of my travels through Azeroth. The picture I have included here is one that was already on the camera when it was given to me. This is how I remember Lordaeron on the day I first walked through its gates. Though there were hundereds of us passing thruogh the gates at that time.

I have been told to watch out for the humans on my travels, I am aware that they regard the Forsaken as un natural even though we are the product of one of their Paladins. They believe us evil when this is not the case, yes we dont need to sleep and yes eating humanoid flesh does heal our wounds but this does not make us evil. We are not scavengers, the flesh we eat must still be warm otherwise we get ill. I have seen what happens when a forsaken eats cold or rotten flesh, its not nice, as well as the vomiting there is the weakness that follows. It takes weeks to get back to normal.

Now, I will end this entry. I will update my journal once I have settled in Brill.

The Preperation
Written by Noscere.

Hello.. I am Noscere and this is my journal. I will start by bringing you up to date on what has happened since I was freed from the Lich. Although I dont feel the need to recall history as it is gone I realise that there are some of you who feel the need to know such trivialities. After we moved into what is now Undercity I took my position in the Apothecary as a butcher. It is my job to skin and carve the cadavers and bodies that come to us ready to be made into what we need.

Recently it has come to the attention of those in the Royal Quarter that more undead have been released from the grips of the Lich with his last defeat at the Chapel of Light, some of these new free undead just like our selves are lost and wandering the Plaguelands and its surrounding areas. The Royal Quarter had asked for some Forsaken to leave Undercity to find these lost ones and bring them back “home” before they get into trouble. (Note: The warm bloods as I call them see no difference between the Forsaken and the newly freed undead, The Dark lady is concerned that the actions of these new undead may cause repercussions on Undercity).

About the same time as The Royal quarter put out their requests I received word from Northrend that my sister has been seen there. It seems from what my contact has said that she has lost her mind and is saying that she is going after the cause. Fadeal took her time as scourge badly, her transition to Forsaken did not go as smooth as it should have, so you know when Fadeal talks about “The Cause” she is referring to Arthas. I have been to the Royal quarter and told them about the note I received and its possible implications on Undercity if things go wrong. It has been agreed that I should leave undercity and head to Northrend to find Fadeal before she does anything silly. As expected there are terms and conditions attached to my journey. I am to report my findings of the world outside of the glades which is one of the reasons for this journal.

Now I have things to organise before I leave Undercity.
